Parker Family

The Parkers seem to come from Andover, Bradford, and Haverhill.

Nathan (1740 – 1779) (Nathan, Nathan, John, Nathan, James, John 1560), of Andover, marries his distant cousin Anna Parker ( May 28, 1747 – 1824, a. 78 y) (Samuel, Daniel, Abraham, Abraham, John, John 1560) and has Frederick in 1771.  They also have a daughter named Ann but cannot find record other than she is listed in Frederick’s probate.

Frederick Parker (1771 – 1820) marries Abigail Burroughs (1776 -1859) from Andover in 1796.  He started buying land in Rocks Village in 1800.  The first two pieces of property we think are 34 Wharf Lane from Elias Weld and 37 East Main Street from Ephraim and Thomas Elliott.  The next three were behind 38 East Main Street and believed to be a Tan Yard bark mill and currying shop. The final piece of land was about 4 acres which encompassed what is now 28 and 36 River Road as well as the back part of 38 East Main. He also owned land in  Amesbury.

Frederick dies in 1820 and his land is split between his widow, sister, and mother. His widow Abigail marries Moses Brown in 1832.  His sister Ann (Nancy), marries Joseph Esterbrook (1786 May 17 – 1861 Feb 24)(Samuel Jr., Samuel, Elijah, Joseph III, Joseph II, Joseph) in 1827.

34 Wharf lane seems transfers to Joseph after Abigail dies, the Tan bark (37 East main, 36 River Road, 28 River Road, and 38 East Main) transfers to Joseph Estabrook (not sure if Joseph buys it all or gets it through his marriage to Ann). Land in Amesbury is sold to Joshua Sargent
