Ephraim may have gotten it from Mary Wingate, his wife.  Wingate land surrounds this.  Mary was Joseph and Joshua Wingate’s sister.  Her sister Abby marries Henry Ingals.

Thomas may have gotten it from Ephraim (his father).

In probate, there is 1/2 acre with house and barn bought from Brown

Poyen probably got it from Elliot as he married Elliot’s daughter Sally.

1830 Poyen according to deed 256/217 (15 Wharf)

1836, Nov 3: Joseph and Sally Poyen to Rachel Knowles, wife of Rufus K. Knowles. Starting across from Nathaniel Ladd, Esq and running northerly on highway 4R, then westerly along Hall land 11R 6Feet, then south 4R along Hall, and then easterly 11R 6feet along Hall. (588/190)

1847 Knowles according to deed 591/28

1859:  Rufus K. Knowles dies. Probate #44710 dated June 28, 1859. One 1/2 undivided property on Steamboat Lane.

1869: Riley according to deed 780/280 (15 Wharf)

1878, Oct 4: James B. Riley, Phillip Riley, John Riley, Mary E. Clooney, and Alice Riley to O. F. Leary (1005/273) bounded by James O’neil (15 Wharf) 11R 6′, Hall, and South by Riley and Dolly Little. (mortgage, discharge: (1215/504). East by Road 7R15L  Part of the land left to them by Patrick Riley. (Combination of 19A and 19B)

1843, Jul 24: Joseph and Sally Poyen to Samuel Elliott (340/260). About 12 Rods of land bounded west by highway 7R, south by Enoch foot 3R, east by Parker 7R and north by parker and esterbrook 3R.  (the highway could be Colby lane) or this could be somewhere else entirely
