He is listed as farmer. He lives on Wharf Lane in 1880 with his wife Eliza and son Benjamin Franklin.

Eliza L. (Chase) Hall (1810 – 1882) inherited several pieces of land from her father Benjamin Chase. She and her husband Daniel H. Hall (1810 – 1881) buy and sell several pieces of property in the Village and seem quite prosperous. When Daniel dies, there is an urgency to settle the estate as “his son has been drunk ever since he became sick” and “he steals everything that can be removed and sells it”. The son took the horse, wagon, and harness and went into NH. The estate is worth about $333 but there are several debts and Eliza ends up with a debt of $14.50. The estate is settled in March 1882 and Eliza dies in May of 1882.
